RULES - Apocalypse Campaign

APOCALYPSE CAMPAIGN

RULES/REGULATIONS AND SETTINGS - READ COMPLETELY

All participants of this campaign must read the following rules and regulations before fighting in the campaign.
**AFTER READING ALL THESE RULES THEN MAKE A POST ACKNOWLEDGING THAT YOU HAVE READ THE RULES.
You must acknowledge the rules in order to participate in this campaign.

Every player must abide by these rules and regulations set forth. Failure to do so will result in your own disqualification from the event, and possibly team forfeiture.

This is a custom operation using GJS 4.4.

We will play this operation using the Gameranger platform.

NO REINFORCE! NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO REINFORCE ANY BG'S AT ANY TIME.
Again, NO ONE MAY REINFORCE ANY BG'S AT ANY TIME IN THIS OPERATION.

SETTINGS: The first two fighters must be certain that they set these settings correctly since there is no going back.

-RECRUIT/RECRUIT
-NEVER ACT ON INITIATIVE must be ON.
-NO MORALE (Morale OFF).
-15 minute battles
-All Victory Locations
-2 Minute Warning

RULES

- NO BATTLE LIMIT. Players can play as many consecutive battles as they wish. Though of course if you play a lot and your comrade is online for a battle then let him have the fight.

- CRASHES will be REBUILT if crashed after 5 minutes of battle, according to TERRITORY AND ALL EQUIPMENT LOSSES (no infantry). Battles will be re-fought only if crash occurs before the 5 minute mark of the game, and refought by 2 new players, unless otherwise stated by me (as in a case where battle froze in first minute, then it is generally okay for the same 2 players to try it again, preferably with the other player hosting).

EQUIPMENT LIMITS: - Based on points system...
6 POINT LIMIT FOR ALL BG'S.
- Medium (regular) tanks count as 1 point (MKIV, Sherman, Cromwell, Stug, Jag,...)
- HEAVY TANKS COUNT AS 1.5 points (Panthers, Tigers, Firefly's, M10's, AVRE's, Crocks.)
- Light tanks (PzIII's, Stuarts, etc), Halftracks, light recon vehicles, AC's, and ATG's count as HALF (1/2) point.
So, for example, two halftracks equals one point.

"6 Point Limit" unit selection examples: ...
- 4 medium tanks + 2 halftracks + 2 light tanks.

German example..
- 4 Panthers = 6 points (1.5 x 4)

Allied example...
- 1 Firefly, 1 M10, 2 Shermans, 2 ATG's = 6 points

REMEMBER, the Panthers, Firefly's, Tigers, M10's, AVRE's, and Crocks count at 1.5 (1 1/2) points.

Always be careful and double check your math.

- VL DEPLOY RULE - This is very important, so be sure that you understand. Especially the guys new to team ops.
Players can only deploy their forces in areas of the map that are connected to a friendly VL area. Valid deploy areas must be touching diagonally or adjacent to one another. Open deploy areas in no-mans-land (areas not connecting to a friendly vl) are OFF LIMITS.

WATER RULE - Valid deploy areas cannot be separated by water. Valid deploy areas must be connected to a VL by land/bridge.
There are no imaginary boats or swimmers (or swimming panzers) in CC. Valid deploy areas must be connected by land/bridge to a friendly VL.

- STRAT MOVES - Strat moves between rounds must be done quickly with no more than 24 hours delay from the final battle of the previous round to strat orders being posted for the next round.
If more than 24 hours passes with no strat orders being posted by a team commander then anyone from that team who is available on Gameranger will perform strat for that team as they see fit, with no repercussions for the result.
Any team commander who is found telling his players to keep away from Gameranger in order to avoid the 24 hour rule will forfeit the game for his team.

Remember, and this goes for everyone on both sides. Just because your opponent is not online when you happen to be online does not mean that people are dodging you or avoiding active participation. They may have been online when you weren't, so the same could be said both ways. Let's all try to be as patient and polite as possible.

Everyone please be committed to this game and make a real effort to log onto Gameranger whenever possible.

Let's have fun. And good luck to everyone.

Wruff
